XRay is the head of technology of Raydium. Liquidity Pools

Blockchain and DeFi have promoted trading with liquidity pools and automated market makers (AMMs).

Using AMMs such as Raydium, customers purchase and sell assets vs. an asset pool provided by liquidity providers. Orders to buy or sell are settled against the assets stored in liquidity pools.

Raydium-Serum Integration

Raydium combined Serum's order book with the AMM mechanism to handle the pros and cons of both exchange types. Using Raydium's AMM or Serum's order book should improve decentralized exchange trading efficiency and cost.
